OWINGS MILLS, Md. (AP) -- The Baltimore Ravens have selected Boise State linebacker Kamalei Correa with the 42nd overall pick in the NFL draft.

Correa entered the draft after a junior year in which he had seven sacks. Baltimore hopes the 6-foot-3, 243-pound outside linebacker will supplement a pass rush that was lacking last season.

The selection came after a busy Friday night of dealing by general manager Ozzie Newsome. Baltimore was slotted 36th overall, but Newsome made deals with Jacksonville and Miami to gain extra picks later in the draft.

First, Newsome swapped second-round selections with Jacksonville and gained a fifth-round pick. Then he traded second-round picks with Miami and secured a fourth-round choice from the Dolphins.

Earlier Tuesday, the Ravens introduced their top draft pick, Notre Dame offensive tackle Ronnie Stanley, the sixth overall pick.
