Crime Stoppers of Southwest Idaho is asking for the public’s help in identifying two women connected with a purse theft and fraudulently-cashed checks.
On the morning of July 16, a vehicle was burglarized at Settlers Park in Meridian, and the victim’s purse was stolen, according to a Crimestoppers news release.
The victim’s checks, which were in the purse at the time, were later cashed at a Mountain West Bank in Coeur d’Alene.
The female suspects were caught on bank security video.
The suspects appeared to be driving a newer model white Volvo passenger car.
