Boise Police detectives are investigating a string of commercial burglaries that were committed between late July and Saturday, September 16.

Officials say six burglaries have occurred -- targeting smoking and alcohol retailers -- in northwest Boise, at businesses off Fairview Avenue, West Ustick Road, and North Cole Road. All the burglaries have been within about one mile of each other.

In each of the crimes, those police say are responsible -- who were usually wearing hooded sweatshirts -- have entered the businesses in the early morning hours by smashing the glass on the front doors.

During one of the break-ins, two suspects were captured on surveillance video riding away on bicycles.

The items taken include alcohol and tobacco products, according to a Crime Stoppers news release.

Anyone with information about the burglaries is asked to contact Crime Stoppers at 343-COPS (2677), www.343COPS.com[343cops.com], or leave a tip using the “P3 Tips” app for your mobile device.

You can earn a reward of up to $1,000 if your tip leads to a felony arrest.
