Caldwell Police officers are investigating a shooting that took place at a mobile home park early Monday morning.
About 3 a.m., officers were dispatched to the 2800 block of Arrowhead Drive for reports of shots being fired in the area. One caller reported his trailer had been struck by a bullet.
Officers located a 23-year-old Caldwell man who had been shot. The victim was transported to St. Alphonsus Regional Medical Center in Boise, where he was treated for what police described as non-life threatening injuries. He was later released.
Detectives determined “the altercation was an isolated incident between two males,” said Caldwell Police Sgt. Damon Rice.
The second man involved, a 30-year-old also from Caldwell, has been identified and is cooperating with the investigation, Rice stated.
No additional information was released.
