Idaho State Police have confirmed they are heading to a call near Swan Falls Road south of Kuna Caves.
Scanner traffic indicates a police chase Thursday ended with shots fired.
Shots fired could be heard on the scanner at 6:45 Thursday evening.
Ada County dispatch says the call started in Canyon County.
The Ada County Sheriffs Department is the lead agency on scene.
