The Gem County Sheriff’s Office has identified the people involved in a shooting on Friday, April 8th.
Rodney W. Deaton was found in front of a home located at Kathy Street suffering from a gunshot wound.
Deaton was flown to a hospital in Boise by air ambulance and his condition is unknown at this time.
Following the shooting, multiple police agencies responded to the home including Ada County SWAT to make contact with an individual believed to be inside.
When authorities entered the home nearly eight hours later, they found a woman, identified as Sharon O. Dillion, with a self-inflicted gunshot wound.
The investigation is ongoing at this time.
