UPDATE: The victim has been identified as Leslie Nassar, a 43-year-old Nampa resident.

Nassar is a citizen of Australia. The two young girls that were injured are daughters of Nassar.

Nassar was killed in a hit and run crash in Nampa on Saturday morning.

On Saturday, Nampa Police responded to the report of a crash between a car and a pedestrian on the 2400 block of Hillcrest Way around 7:30 a.m.

When officers arrived, they found the victim, a 43-year-old Nampa man was struck by a car but the suspect had fled the scene.

The victim was transported to a local hospital where he was pronounced dead.

After the investigation, Nampa Police found two more victims in this hit and run crash, a 3-year-old girl and an 8-year-old girl, both related to the victim.

Both girls were treated and released from the hospital.

Nampa Police dispatcher reviewed a suspicious phone call they received earlier, reporting the hit-and-run crash. Police were able to track down the owner of the phone and interviewed him.

He admitted to hitting the victim and fleeing the scene. He is identified as Tristian Donovan Myers, 20, of Nampa.

Myers was charged with a felony--leaving the scene of an injury crash. He is being held in the Canyon County jail on that charge.

Nampa Police are still investigating this case. Alcohol is suspected to be a factor in this crash.
