One man is dead and another man was hospitalized in an early Sunday morning in Canyon County.
Idaho State Police are investigating a single-vehicle accident that occurred around 3 AM at Rim Road, south of Nampa.
A 1998 Chevrolet Cavalier was heading north on Rim Road north of Melmont Road when it left the roadway, causing the vehicle to roll.
The driver, Jose Puente Martinez, 28, of Caldwell, ID, was pronounced dead at the scene of the crash. Next of kin has been notified.
The other occupant, Jesus Silva, 33, of Mexico, was transported by air ambulance to St. Alphonsus Regional Medical Center in Boise.
