Idaho Transportation department crews will be working overnight Wednesday, December 2nd and Thursday December 3rd. ITD warns, construction will be very loud, as crews grind concrete both nights along I-84 between the Locust Grove overpass and Meridian Road Interchange.
During this work, overnight lane restrictions and speed-limit reductions will be in place on eastbound I-84 between Meridian and Locust Grove roads. Work hours are from 10 p.m. to 5 a.m.. The grinding work is being done at night in order to keep four lanes open in both directions on I-84 during the day.
The work is part of the final phase of rebuilding the outside lanes and shoulders of I-84 between Meridian and Five Mile roads.
