Neil deGrasse Tyson to speak in Boise

The Morrison Center has announced that astrophysicist, cosmologist, author and TV star Neil deGrasse Tyson is headed to Boise on June 15th, 2015.

The series is being called, “An Astrophysicist Goes to the Movies" and will feature Tyson speaking about how Hollywood displays science in movies.

Tickets go on sale Friday, April 8 at 10 am - limit 8. VIP tickets featuring a post-show photo opportunity.

Boise State University students will be able to pick up tickets for $25, limit two per student.

For everyone else, tickets range from $85 for GA to $150-$250 for VIP.

Tyson is the director for the Hayden Planetarium in New York City with a BA from Harvard and a Ph.D. in Astrophysics from Columbia.
