Garden City Police have arrested a man after a lengthy investigation into a deadly DUI crash last year.
25 year old Dakotah Smith of Nampa has been charged with Vehicular Manslaughter, Aggravated DUI and Driving Without Privileges.
Officers responded to the accident on July 1st of last year near the intersection of Riverside Drive and Lake Front Place.
When police arrived on the scene, they discovered a man deceased as a result of his injuries. Both men on the scene would not admit to causing the accident.
Since then detectives have collected evidence and identified the driver as Smith.
