The Ada County Coroner’s Office has identified the man killed in a single-car accident that happened last Saturday morning near State Street and Bogart Lane.
Coroner Dotti Owens says Timothy Polston, 28, died from blunt force trauma. He had been transported to Saint Alphonsus Regional Medical Center in Boise. He was pronounced dead about 7:30 a.m. Saturday.
Responding officers found Polston’s car in a canal. They say he was driving westbound on State Street when, for some reason, he went off the highway. Polston was the only occupant in the vehicle.
Police are still investigating the accident.
