Treefort Music Fest's Main Stage opens in Downtown Boise
Despite the chilly weather, Treefort Music Festival had a great turnout Friday night with the festival’s Main Stage opening in Downtown Boise on Grove and 12th Street.
A band from Seattle, Deep Sea Diver opened the stage with a large crowd.
The main headline performer, Sharon Jones and the Dap Kings ended Friday’s Main Stage show on a great note. The crowd went wild and were dancing to the performances.
There's still two nights left to check out some great Indie bands from all across the country. More than 270 bands will be playing in 13 venues in Downtown Boise.
People can go online and #treefort 2013 to can see the latest on what’s happening, as the music festival is blowing up on social media sites, such as Twitter and Instagram.
If fans want to listen to some of the bands’ music before checking out their performances, they can use Treefort’s new app. The app has the artists' songs and their latest schedule.
