Boise Police arrest two Boise women on shoplifting, drug charges
Boise Police responded to a report of a theft at a retail store on the 600 block of North Milwaukee Street about 3:00 p.m. Thursday. Store employees told police two women had concealed merchandise before leaving the store, and did not pay for the items.
Officers said they soon located the suspects and recovered stolen items from them, including shoes and earrings.
According to the officers, when Astraiah Armstrong removed her hands from her clothing, several used syringes fell out. The syringes reportedly contained meth residue.
Astraiah J. Armstrong, 22, Boise, was arrested for felony possession of a controlled substance and Alayjah Armstrong, 18, Boise, was arrested for misdemeanor petit theft.
