Emmett woman arrested for sexual battery of a child
An Emmett woman is in the Ada County Jail on an outstanding felony warrant for sexual battery of a child.
Amanda Sheets, 27, was taken into custody Tuesday.
Police said the arrest stems from an incident that that took place at a west Boise home on January 9th of last year. “The incident was reported to police by a third party on March 9th of this year and an investigation followed,” Boise Police spokeswoman Lynn Hightower said.
The investigative information was forwarded to the Ada County Prosecuting Attorney's Office and resulted in the felony warrant.
