Garden City’s Boys & Girls Clubs welcomes C-SPAN Bus Tour
The 45 foot C-SPAN Bus will visit Garden City’s Moseley Center of the Boys & Girls Clubs of Ada County as part of a country-wide tour to promote C-SPAN’s resources, political coverage, and workshop opportunities.
Garden City Club Kids will board the bus, and get an inside look at C-SPAN’s comprehensive educational and political resources and participate in interactive technology highlighting C-SPAN’s new series, “First Ladies: Influence and Image” featuring women who served in the role of First Lady over 44 administrations.
The event is Thursday, March 28, from 2:30 – 3:30 p.m. at the Boys & Girls Clubs of Ada County’s Moseley Center, 610 E. 42nd Street, Garden City. The event will feature over 100 school-aged members of the Boys & Girls Club, C-SPAN team members, local educators and dignitaries.
