415 homes and businesses lose power in Downtown Boise
Saturday night around 9 p.m. a power outage caused 415 businesses and homes to lose electricity in the Downtown Boise area.
A loud bang was heard at 6th and Main. Idaho Power Crews were on the scene and believe it could have been caused by a blown transformer.
Ada County Dispatch confirmed the areas affected were: 6th and Main Street, stretching to Capital and Main, Grove, Myrtle, 2nd, and State Street.
The outage lasted about thirty minutes before crews restored power.
