UPDATE: Man dies after being struck by van in Boise
BOISE, Idaho (AP) -- A 44-year-old man was struck by a van while trying to cross a Boise roadway in the dark, suffering fatal injuries.
Police say Kelly Summers was trying to cross the road at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday when he was hit. He was not in a crosswalk. Summers died at the hospital several hours later.
Ada County coroner's reports say summers died of blunt force trauma to the head and chest and said the death was accidental.
No charges have been filed.
