Man arrested in connection with Nampa hit-and-run
NAMPA, Idaho (AP) -- Police in Nampa say they've arrested a man in connection with a hit-and-run crash that left a scooter rider with serious injuries.
Investigators used surveillance video to identify the vehicle they believed was involved in the crash.
The collision happened Saturday, when a driver in a white passenger car made a left turn in front of a scooter and the two vehicles crashed. The white car then fled the scene.
The 35-year-old Nampa resident that police say was driving the car was arrested Monday on suspicion of felony leaving the scene of an accident, driving without a license and no insurance. The man was expected to be arraigned Tuesday afternoon.
