Man arrested, Pocatello police officer hit by car
POCATELLO, Idaho (AP) -- A 20-year-old man is charged with aggravated battery after a Pocatello police officer said the man knocked him over with the fender of his car.
KIFI-TV reports police had responded to complaints about a loud party at 12:20 a.m. when Zackary Mark Price ran out the back door. Police reports said Price got into his car and started to back out of an alley, knocking down an approaching police officer.
Police said Price then drove forward directly toward the officer, who had to jump out of the way to avoid being hit again.
The officer was not injured.
