Nez Perce County Sheriff’s deputy fired after second DUI charge
In Lewiston, Idaho- Jay Colvin, a 38-year-old Nez Perce County Sheriff’s deputy was fired on Thursday. After receiving a second driving under the influence charge.
Nez Perce County Sheriff’s Deputy Scot Gleason said Colvin was fired after an internal investigation.
A Idaho State Police trooper arrested Colvin in Lewiston. The trooper said he saw Colvin failing to signal during a lane change, his blood alcohol level tested at 0.123% and 0.134%.
Colvin plead guilty to his first DUI charge in 2011. He was sentenced to probation and community service.
