Idaho State Police arrest three people for drug trafficking near Rexburg
On Monday, February 25th, at approximately 10:00 am, the Idaho State Police initiated a traffic stop on a 1996 Ford truck traveling east on US 20 at milepost 340, near Rexburg.
During the traffic stop, the trooper obtained probable cause to search the vehicle which resulted in the discovery of approximately 660 ounces of suspected methamphetamine. A subsequent search warrant for the vehicle was obtained which resulted in the discovery of approximately $4,000 in cash.
Wes Williams, 55, of Ririe, Idaho, Brandy Rachell Felts, 40, of Wallace, California and Robert Johnson, 33, of Watford, North Dakota were arrested at the scene for trafficking a controlled substance (methamphetamine), and were incarcerated in the Madison County Jail.
