Bogus Basin expects “great” skiing conditions this weekend
It was snowing at the Bogus Basin ski resort north of Boise Friday afternoon, and the National Weather Service is forecasting a 100% chance of snow Friday night -- with 8 to 12 inches of accumulation and stormy conditions for most of next week.
“Traditionally, mid-February to mid-March is great for snow accumulation and with nearly two months left of skiing, this storm will make for some great conditions at Bogus,” said General Manager Alan Moore.
Long-term, NOAA forecast calls for average temp and average precipitation for next season.
Bogus Basin opened the season on December 21st and is open for day and night operations. For one week only, the no exclusion Bogus 2013-14 season pass is on sale for $229. Sale ends this Sunday.
