Prosecutors say Shawn Fisher fired a shot at another victim
Driver shot at on Boise Bench
The Boise man who police believe was at the center of a bizarre string of events including a hit and run and deadly shooting was in court Wednesday. Investigators believe the incidents started at Shawn Fisher's home on Boise's bench where he rear ended a car as he backed out of his driveway Monday night.
Police say he pulled along-side the car and shot into the driver’s side, just missing the driver.
Investigators believe Fisher drove off and headed for Franklin Road.
We know from police and the coroner that is where 28 year old Mathew Mohler-Kerns was shot and killed. Fisher is not yet charged with any crimes in relation to Mohler-Kern’s death.
He was taken into custody hiding behind a house on Cole Road.
He is charged with felony aggravated assault, aggravated battery and a misdemeanor charge of mistreating a police dog. Fisher is scheduled back in court in early March.
