Alcohol involved in Sunday Bogus Basin Road crash
BOISE, Idaho (AP) -- Authorities say alcohol was a factor in a crash off Bogus Basin Road that killed a 50-year-old Boise man.
Roger L. Brown was the only person in the 1979 Porsche 930 when it went off a steep hillside Sunday a few miles below the Bogus Basin Mountain Recreation Area.
State police determined alcohol was involved.
The force of the crash ejected Brown from the car even though he was wearing a seatbelt. Chief Deputy Coroner Mike Johnson says no autopsy will be done.
