The Idaho State Affairs Committee will hold a public hearing regarding two controversial marijuana bills at 8 a.m. Wednesday morning at the Capital Auditorium. Chairman Curt McKenzie, R-Nampa will be trying a new approach to the issue by letting people sign up in advance to testify.

SCR 112 states Idaho Legislature’s firm opposition to the legalization of marijuana. And SJM 10 calling for the federal government to enforce federal anti-drug laws in all states. This would include Washington, who has legalized marijuana.

If you would like to testify you can sign up by emailing the committee secretary at sstaf@senate.idaho.gov
