Adela Rexach got the news she was hoping for on Tuesday, after going on our airwaves on Monday about her dog Smokey disappearing out of her back yard. The dog turned up at the Idaho Humane Society, and she didn’t have the money to get it out.

But dozens of viewers offered to help.

"I didn't expect that it was going to be so fast,” Rexach says. “It didn't take anything after the news came out, when you guys called me and told me that they want to help me and get my puppy back."

Rebecca Stella was one of many who emailed asking to help Adela.

"I went online, to the 6 On Your Side and I emailed and said, please put me in contact with her. I'd like to help her get her dog back."

And after 15 minutes of filling out paperwork...the reunion finally happened.

Although excited to be with her dog once again, this is an adventure Adela says she doesn't plan on repeating.

“No way, Jose,” she says.
