E. Idaho snowmobiler killed after hitting tree
Eastern Idaho authorities say a 56-year-old Island Park man has died in a snowmobile crash.
The Fremont County Sheriff's Office tells the Post Register emergency responders were dispatched about 11 p.m. Saturday on a report of an accident on the trail near Box Canyon in the Last Chance area of Island Park.
Authorities say the man hit a tree and was unconscious at the time the accident was reported.
Police say the man was pronounced dead at the scene.
His name has not been released.
