Canyon County deputies make arrest in Nampa homicide

Sunday, Canyon County Sheriff's deputies arrested Nicole Lee Kirtley of Melba on first degree murder and grand theft charges in connection with a homicide last week.
On Thursday, police responded to a home on the 1900 block of Powerline Rd. in Nampa, finding the body of 59-year-old George Richardson who had been shot multiple times.
The investigation involved Richardson's missing 1997 red and black jeep. Police say a tip led investigators to the jeep that was partially submerged in the Snake River south of Melba.
Kirtley is scheduled to be arraigned Monday at 1:30 p.m.
