An armed and dangerous individual is on the loose in Canyon County this evening.
The county sheriff says the individual is responsible for the shooting death of a 59 year old Nampa man.

Officials continue to sift through the crime scene on the 1900 block of South Powerline Road.
But it's now very clear what kind of crime they're dealing with.

"Autopsy completed this morning showed Mr. Richardson was killed by gunshot wounds and we are treating this case as a homicide."
George Richardson junior lived in this house alone.
Police found his body at the home Thursday after a relative contacted them.
They say Richardson's family is cooperating fully, but they need more help.

"We're asking if anyone knew Mr. Richardson or his situation, to contact law enforcement."
One key to the investigation at this point is the Jeep Wrangler that was taken from Richardson's property.
The custom alloy wheels are highly recognizable.

"If you see the vehicle do not approach it. Obviously the person is armed and dangerous. Call law enforcement or the Canyon County Sheriff's office."

There was a stabbing incident nearby just a day before but sheriff's officials say there's nothing to indicate the two cases are related.
