Cascade man stabbed, shot in late-night altercation
A man from Cascade is in the hospital following a struggle late Wednesday night in a Nampa backyard.
About 11 p.m., Nampa Police officers say they responded to a report of a stabbing in the 2300 block of S. Florence Street.
Officers learned that a 42-year-old Cascade man had walked out of a home he was visiting to investigate a man he saw walking through the backyard.
“He confronted the subject and was subsequently stabbed,” said NPD Sgt. Don Peck. “A physical altercation took place and the victim was also shot in the leg by his own gun.”
The attacker fled the scene.
He’s described as a man, approximately 5’ 10” to 6’ tall and roughly 260 pounds. He was wearing a gray hoodie with an emblem on the back
