Police searching for convenience store robber
Idaho Falls Police are investigating an armed robbery that took place at the Common Cents Food Store on West Broadway Street late Wednesday night.
The suspect is believed to be a man, about 25 to 30 years old, with a thin build. Witnesses told police he was wearing all black clothing with a hoodie -- and a mask covering his face.
According to reports, the suspect entered the convenience store around 11:15 p.m. A female employee told investigators the man demanded cash from the register. He then lifted his shirt to show her a handgun tucked into the front of his waist band.
The robber left the store on foot, heading west, with an undisclosed amount of cash.
