Boise Police are investigating a burglary at the Bogus Basin Ski Office.

Officers were called at 8:00 a.m., Tuesday, January 22nd to the offices of the Bogus Basin Ski Area on the 2600 block of North Bogus Basin Road. Officers found someone had forced entry into the office and had taken an undisclosed amount of cash.

Officers believe the burglary occurred sometime between midnight and 5:30 a.m. Tuesday morning, Jan. 22nd.

"Bogus Basin is a non-profit that, like a lot of non-profits and small businesses, operates on a very small margin. Any loss from theft can hit the ski operation hard along with so many families served by the local ski area. We hope there's someone who has some information that can help us find whoever's responsible," said Sgt. Brian Lee of the Boise Police Property Crimes Unit.

Anyone with information is urged to contact Crime Stoppers at 343-COPS, or log onto www.343cops.com, or text CRIMES or 274637, subject: Tip236. A citizen can remain anonymous. A reward of up to $1,000 is offered by Crime Stoppers for information leading to the arrest of criminal suspects.
