Buhl man pleads guilty to bankruptcy fraud
BOISE, Idaho (AP) -- A 32-year-old Buhl man has pleaded guilty to bankruptcy fraud for not reporting he'd won a certificate for a new boat 10 days before he filed in March 2009.
Brandon Craner was indicted in May 2012 and pleaded guilty in U.S. District Court in Boise on Monday.
The plea agreement states Craner filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy on March 24, 2009, and concealed from creditors and the bankruptcy trustee his interest in a certificate for a Ranger boat that he was awarded on March 14, 2009.
Sentencing is set for April 22 before U.S. District Judge Edward J. Lodge.
