Rexburg businessman pleads guilty to storing and disposing hazardous waste
POCATELLO, Idaho (AP) -- A Rexburg businessman has pleaded not guilty in federal court to knowingly storing and disposing hazardous waste on his property illegally.
Seventy-one-year-old Max Spatig was charged in December with storing more than 3,400 containers of hazardous waste on his property in July 2010.
The federal government paid nearly half a million dollars to dispose of the waste.
