Police arrest student with handgun and knife at alternative school
CLARKSTON, Wash. (AP) -- School officials in Clarkston, Wash., say police have arrested a juvenile student who had an unloaded handgun and an illegal switchblade knife at an alternative school in that city.
No threats were made to anyone at the Educational Opportunity Center and the student did not have any ammunition when police picked him up Tuesday afternoon.
