Police searching for Boise bank robber
Boise Police are looking for a man who they say held up the Wells Fargo Bank near North Five Mile and Ustick Roads this morning.
It happened shortly after 11:30.
“Information given to the first responding officers is the man walked into the bank and demanded cash. No weapon was seen. He was last seen leaving the bank with an undisclosed amount of cash running southbound through the business complex parallel to Five Mile,” said Boise Police spokesperson Lynn Hightower.
Preliminary reports say the suspect appeared to be in his 60's, about 5'10" to 6 feet tall, approximately 180 pounds, with long “straggley-appearing grey hair and a grey beard," Hightower said.
He was last seen wearing a grey jacket with a green hoodie beneath, black and grey “camo” trousers, tennis shoes and carrying a red canvas bag.
If you know anything about the robbery or can provide information, you are urged to call the police at 343-COPS.
