Police look for motive in Idaho Falls murder
IDAHO FALLS, Idaho (AP) -- Authorities say they are trying to determine a motive for the shooting death of a 21-year-old Idaho Falls woman.
Adan Arroyo is in custody after police found Kristy M. Aschliman lying to the side of Lincoln Road east of Ammon on Saturday. Her car was 50 yards away stuck in the snow.
Witnesses reported two men running from the scene. Police found Arroyo at a residence and took him into custody on suspicion of murder.
Bonneville County Sheriff Paul Wilde said Sunday deputies were serving search warrants to gain access to vehicles and cellphones.
The 22-year-old Arroyo is not talking to deputies.
