Reward offered for information on school break-in
HAILEY, Idaho (AP) -- Police in Hailey are offering a $2,000 reward for information leading to the prosecution of the person that used a shotgun to break into Wood River High School last week.
Because the break-in involved a gun, school officials delayed the start of classes by two hours.
Blaine County School District spokeswoman Heather Crocker says someone fired a shotgun through a glass door at the school at about 1:30 a.m. Friday.
Hailey Police Chief Jeff Gunter says the person stayed in the school for about a minute and apparently pulled the fire alarm before leaving.
Police are reviewing security camera footage to see if a suspect can be identified.
