Winter storm dumps a foot of fresh snow on Brundage Mountain
McCALL, ID – A powerful winter storm has delivered significant snowfall to Brundage Mountain, ski resort officials said.
“The resort has received 12 inches of fresh snow since 4 pm Wednesday. Eleven inches of that snow fell overnight Wednesday, setting up superb powder skiing conditions for Thursday visitors,” said spokeswoman April Russell.
“Snow fell at a rate of more than an inch an hour during the height of the storm. Overnight temperatures ranged from 13-20 degrees, giving the snow a light, powdery consistency,” she stated.
A total of 19 inches has fallen in the Brundage Mountain base area (6,000 foot elevation) since Monday morning.

The Brundage snow base now measures 50” at the base and 76” on the summit.
