Pocatello fugitive arrested in Nampa
POCATELLO, Idaho (AP) -- Federal authorities say they have arrested a Pocatello man sought on charges of attempted murder and trafficking methamphetamine and marijuana.
U.S. Marshals and other law enforcement arrested 27-year-old Droshawn Griggs at a motel in Nampa on Tuesday. Griggs is being held in the Canyon County Jail and is awaiting extradition on the felonies.
Griggs and two other defendants were indicted by a federal grand jury last month for conspiracy to distribute controlled substances. A warrant has also been issued for Griggs by Pocatello police for attempted murder.
Authorities were looking for Griggs for six weeks before getting information he was staying at a Nampa motel.
