Boise Police Dept. Explosives Unit called to bomb threat at Grangeville High School

Wednesday, Jan. 9, just before 5:50 a.m., Grangeville Police responded to the report of a bomb threat at Grangeville High School, located on South D Street in Grangeville.

"Officers recovered written material reporting that a bomb had been placed on the school grounds," said Trudy Slagle with the Idaho County Sheriff's Office. "The material was located by employees reporting for work."

After investigating, the Idaho County Sheriff's department called the Boise Police Department Explosives Disposal Unit to respond to the scene.
