Idaho Falls Police investigating suspicious infant death
The Idaho Falls Police Department is investigating the death of a 16-month-old baby who died of a skull fracture. According to Joelyn Hansen with the department, Esmiie Quezada of Fort Hall died on Dec. 31 at Primary Children’s Hospital in Salt Lake City.
"According to reports, the child was found unresponsive in the early morning hours on Dec. 30 while staying at a residence in the 500 block of West Shelley in Idaho Falls," said Hansen. "The child was taken to Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center and later flown to Primary Children’s Hospital."
The death is currently under investigation.
