Idaho Lottery's Million Dollar Raffle now officially sold out
The Idaho Lottery’s Idaho $1,000,000 Raffle game is officially sold out, according to David Workman with the Idaho Lottery.
"The 250,000th ticket was sold late in the afternoon on Saturday, December 29, 2012 and officially ended sales," said Workman. "No additional tickets will be issued."
In the final eight days of sales, over 25 percent of the tickets were sold.
“We would like to say thank you to all our players and retail partners for their participation since this game began, and especially during the past week,” said Jeff Anderson, Idaho Lottery Director. “Someone right now is holding a ticket worth $1,000,000. All players holding an Idaho $1,000,000 Raffle ticket should sign the back of it and keep it in a safe place until the winning numbers are announced on Wednesday evening.”
The winning numbers will be announced on Wednesday, Jan. 2, 2013 at 6:00 p.m. on Today's 6.
"In addition to the top prize of $1,000,000, there are four $10,000 prizes, fifty $1,000 prizes, one thousand $100 prizes, one thousand $50 prizes, and twenty-four hundred $25 prizes in this year’s game," said Workman.
