Names released from other Sunday crash in OR
STANFIELD, Ore. (AP) -- Oregon State Police have released the names of the two men involved in another fatal crash on Interstate 84 in Oregon on Sunday morning.
A 69-year-old man from Post Falls, Idaho, was pronounced dead at the scene of the single vehicle crash east of Stanfield.
Police say 26-year-old Timothy Hancock was driving a pickup near milepost 192 when he lost control of the vehicle on an icy section of Interstate-84. The pickup rolled over in the center median before coming to rest upside down.
The pickup's passenger, 69-year-old Freeman Glenn Thomason, was killed. Hancock was taken by ambulance to Good Shepherd Hospital in Hermiston with non-life threatening injuries.
