Police looking for owners of snowboards stolen from Bogus Basin
Garden City Police Detectives said they have recovered several stolen snowboards that were taken throughout the day Thursday by "a juvenile offender" at Bogus Basin Ski Resort.
However, the Boise County Sheriff's Office (the jurisdiction where Bogus Basin is located) has not received any reports of missing snowboards from the owners.
"We would like to get the stolen property back to their rightful owners as soon as possible," Garden City Police Detective John Brumbaugh said.
The victims will need to file a theft report with the Boise County Sheriff's Office and describe their stolen property. According to Garden City police, because the offender is a juvenile his name cannot be released. He faces several theft charges in Boise County.
"We are asking victims to contact the Boise County Sheriff's Office as soon as possible," Det. Brumbaugh said.
