Geese feces litter Morris Hill Cemetery tombstones
A viewer called our "On Your Side" newsroom saying his brother's tombstone at Boise's Morris Hill Cemetery is one of hundreds of graves full of geese feces.
Boise Parks and Recreation say the city has received numerous complaints through the years about the geese poop, but the department admits unlike parks, it's tough to implement a clean-up plan at a cemetery.
"Cemeteries need to be treated differently then parks and so we're mindful of that," Boise Parks and Recreation spokeswoman Amy Stahl said. "It's a place for contemplative thought and we try to be respectful to our visitors and families."
Stahl said her office is looking at some options to remove the feces and hope to present ideas to the Parks and Rec. citizens commissioners board at a later date.
