Missing Boise woman found safe
Police has announced they have found a woman reported missing last week. According to Charles McClure with the Boise Police, a citizen called officers after spotting the missing woman near 36th and State. Janet Garrett, 41 of Boise, is safe at this time.
"Officers want to thank the citizens who helped locate the woman who had been missing since [Thursday] at 3:30 p.m. when she walked away from her home," said McClure. "Officers located her at approximately 2:50 p.m. [Friday, Dec. 21]. The woman appears to be in good health, but may have spent the night outside. She has been returned to the safety of loved ones who are thrilled to have her safe."
