Chase Bank on Federal Way reports robbery Friday morning
Boise Police received a report of a robbery at a bank on the 6400 block of Federal way Friday morning, Dec. 21, just before 10:19 a.m.
"Witnesses tell police the suspect demanded cash from the teller, but did not display a weapon," said Charles McClure with the Boise Police Department. "The suspect was last seen leaving the business on foot Northbound from the bank with an undisclosed amount of money. A search of the immediate area did not result in an immediate arrest. No one was injured during the incident."
According to McClure, the man is described as a light skinned male, under 6 feet tall, possibly wearing a dark T-shirt, grey or tan hat, a grey or tan jacket with a hood and blue colored jeans with glasses.
Police are asking anyone with information, or who may have seen this man on foot in the area is urged to contact Crime Stoppers at 343-COPS, or log onto www.343cops.com, or text CRIMES or 274637, subject: Tip236. A citizen can remain anonymous. A reward of up to $1,000 is offered by Crime Stoppers for information leading to the arrest of criminal suspects.
