Boise man arrested with 182 grams of meth

Boise Police Neighborhood Contact Officers, working with Idaho Probation and Parole agents searched a residence on the 2400 block of South Stanley Street Thursday, Dec. 19, around noon.

"The search comes on the heels of citizen reports of drug activity at the home," said Charles McClure with the Boise Police Department. "Officers recovered 182 grams total package weight of Meth and other items of drug paraphernalia from the home.

According to McClure, Boise Police Neighborhood Contact Officers are dedicated liaisons between neighborhoods and the police department. Officers work with residents, other officers city and non-profit agencies to solve neighborhood issues like drug houses, burglaries, thefts and other neighborhood safety issues.

Kenneth L. Hughes, 46 of Boise, was arrested for felony trafficking in a controlled substance (meth), possession of drug paraphernalia and felony probation violation charges.
